Come along for a fantastic night out with delicious food, special guests, entertainment, dancing, canines and cocktails! Hosted by special guest Archie, the resident canine ambassador at Pepper’s Silo Hotel, Archie’s Ball – Canines and Cocktails is Guide Dogs Tasmania’s inaugural charity ball to help raise much needed funds for the training of Guide, Therapy and Companion Dogs in Tasmania. At a cost of over $35,000 to raise and train each dog, your night out with Archie will not only be full of fun and fine food, but will also be contributing to an extremely worthwhile cause. Who is Archie? Archie went through his Guide Dog training during 2017-18 but proved to have too much personality and enthusiasm for life to continue his career as a working Guide Dog. This made him a perfect candidate for a new role as the canine ambassador at the recently opened Pepper’s Silo Hotel. Since joining the Silo team in May last year, this loveable Labrador has become a local personality in Launceston, bringing a smile to the face of all that he meets!
